The Liturgical Year

The liturgical year in the Catholic Church is a cyclical calendar that guides worship and spiritual life of the community. It is divided into different seasons, including Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time, each with its own themes and celebrations. These seasons help the faithful to reflect the life of Jesus Christ, His teachings, and the events of salvation history. Through this structure, the Church invites believers to grow in faith, engage in prayer, and participate in the sacraments throughout the year.
